    Customer Reviews:
    worked at first
This is a great product unless your dog is as determined as mine! My little Shih-tzu was quite shocked by this when he first had it on. (Quite amusing to watch!) The first few days it worked great, but then he just decided to bark through it after he realized it was annoying but not harmful! But it was worth a shot over the anti-barking alternatives.

Barking collar not quite as good as advertised
This product is wonderful when it works. The package includes a battery and cylinder of citrenella. The battery I received did not work. I spent $6.99 for a new battery at a pet store. The provider promised to send a new one, but it never arrived. The cylinder of cintenella soon runs out because the device will not work unless there is a full amount of citrinella in the chamber. (It takes much more than the recommended 20 seconds to fill the chamber). Too soon, the citrenella needs to be replenished. All in all, if the collar is working, it works well.

    Does not work
I bought this about a year ago-I paid more than what is is selling for now. It worked at first until my dog figured out how to empty the reservoir within about 10 seconds of barking.

The cost of the spray to refill it is ridiculous-I have spent about $100 in a year on refills-and the battery life is poor-even though I always turned it off when it wasn’t on my dog.

I also used the methods they suggested to train her-it just didn’t work.

I figure between the cost of the collar, refill spray, and batteries I have dropped close to $175 on this for nothing. Now the collar will not even spray at all.

If it works for your dog that’s great. I have a German Shepherd and maybe dogs like that who are very smart and very protective of their territory don’t respond well to this type of collar.

I now have to try and find another type of collar that will control her barking-more $$.

it’s the not so gentle spray.
It sounds like a great and gentle idea, however instead teaching him not to bark, it thru him into a complete panic attack with every spray. My dog got nothing out of this product but more anxiety and smelling as if he had jumped into a pool of bug spray. I’d give this product zero stars but it wont allow you to do that.

    Holy Moly! They Work
Well, I was a bit sceptical at first, but they work indeed. I have two very yappy dachsunds that bark at everything all the time for no reason. They actually frighten small children. Since buying one collar for each dog, the barking has significantly stopped and they are very quiet now. Most the time they are quiet, if the dogs do bark, they bark once and then stop for a very long time. I have my peace and quiet back and the dogs can be around children with no problem. I know the collars are humane and don’t hurt them at all. I know this because I took a direct spray right into my face and eyes, while it scared me silly, it didn’t burn my eyes or anything like that and the citronella isn’t overpowering. I am very pleased with the collars. Even when I take the collars off, the dogs are still much more quiet now. I give these collars a 5.

On a side note, the only thing I didn’t like is there is no way to attach a leash to the collars. I had to modify them and put a clasp on them to walk the dogs. I am going to buy the dogs a walking harness, so that won’t be a problem anymore.

One last thing, the mic on the collars are very sensitive, if my wife is yelling at excitement at the TV when she gets an answer right for Wheel of Fortune, she will set the collar off. Maybe I should get her one so she shuts the heck up. Ha Ha funny.
